Cameo Birthday Cards

What better way to spend a wet weekend than tucked up in my craft room making cards with my Cameo and using some of the love files from the Silhouette Store.  One of my favourite designers is Daniela Angelova - there are some of her files on Pinterest (Daniela Angelova). As part of a Silhouette Cameo Facebook group we make birthday cards for other members of the group - great way to make more cards and to use some of the lovely stash items, card and paper.  I had 4 cards to make for the February birthdays but was really enjoying making cards so make a few extra.  Can't wait to make some more - there are so many different designs still to make!

I used some of my Craftwork Cards papers, flowers and sentiments.

I love adding flowers made with Craftwork Cards Card Candy

This paper is from Hunkydory.

More Card Candy flowers.

Upcycling!

Well now!  I saw a couple of challenges recently - one to use material in a project and one to use something waste to make into a project.  I decide to do both in one.  I used to have a lovely pale green jacket with embroidery on it (well I liked it) but sadly it no longer fitted me. I had thought of making it into a bag but started cutting it up but didn't get any farther.  So for these projects I cut some flowers out of the jacket with a Sizzix die.  I put a little Indigo Blu Flitter Glue on the edges and then used some silver embossing powder.  The background was stamped with an old Rollagraph stamp and also embossed in silver.  The sentiment is from Stampendous.

Shoe Card

This is a busy month for birthdays - several January birthdays and also beginning of February.  I also need to make a card for a card swap challenge so decided to combine two tasks in one and made two variations of the same card one for the challenge and one for a birthday card.  The backing papers and shoe decoupage are from Fabulous Shoes CD.  I have lots of crafting CDs but always forget to use them but when I do remember love the way everything matches.  I cut the decoupage out with the Silhouette Cameo and the doily is one of the designs from the Silhouette store.
